We need your feedback! Please help make next year's event even better than this year's by leaving race organizers feedback about your experiences this year. We need your throughts, insights, suggestions, and criticism.
We just wanted to thank the CopperDog organization for putting on another spectacular race weekend. With our truck breaking down enroute to Eagle River, MI, on Friday night, you folks stepped right in to help us. You are beyond terrific. Our hero is Tony's Anytime Towing in Laurium. You contacted him for us and he towed our truck and dog hauler up to Eagle River so it would be there when Ken finished the CopperDog 40. He then towed the truck back on Saturday, basically his day off, and replaced our fuel pump, so we could get the dog hauler and dogs back to where we were staying. Without your race personnel making these calls for us and helping us, this could have been a nightmare weekend for us. You put on another tremendous race venue and keep outdoing yourselves each year, you all rock! Again, words cannot express how we feel about your race organization, and mostly how we feel about your community. To the kind folks in Eagle River, who ran back to their house late in the night to get us some "Heet", and to the wonderful people across the street who watched our dog hauler on Saturday and even invited us to park in their driveway next year, a big, big thank you. We simply cannot believe the warmth and friendliness of everyone up there. Thank you again. We will be back again next year! Keep up the fantastic work. Your organization, all the volunteers, and people of your community are shining stars!!! Ken & Sue Zettler, Rhinelander, WISee
This was my first year as a volunteer. I did security friday night on Fifth street and a road crossing helper on Sunday. It was great. One suggestion might be to give a short break to the security people on Friday evening. I was "on the job" over 2 hours Friday night and it was pretty cold standing there all that time. A 10 minute break for warming by the fires would have really been appreciated. But I still enjoyed it and will be back next year if at all possible.
Sunday morning I awoke to -15. At the road crossing it was -9 with a stiff wind blowing, but it still was great! I hope to be more involved next year.
Unable to see if all is on time for day 3. Tried to find out until 11 A.M. and then gave up. Days 1 and 2 were super coverage on twitter etc. Not so much on day three at least up till 11:00
Have some sort of interviews on your website with mushers during the race, after or before a stage to let the fans know how the race is going. I am sure there are people talking to them so put some of the take on the website.
Really enjoyed watching the start and watching the twitter feeds. The communication was great...even was watching it from Japan! Very professional job all around. The start looked amazing. Wish I was there.
Just looking for overall times so far for 150 teams that are in at Eagle Harbor?
It would be nice if you had a better selection of food. Not everyone lives off of cigarettes and beer.
I cannot find a list of mushers running the 150 anywhere on your website nor a list of mushers in order after bib draw.....
found it... sorry
can not find a list of mushers in the race, i understand once it starts ill see them on time sheets. big race but have no idea who is in it.
Your poster for 2014 online is really small to the point of not being able to read any of it. Thankfully there are already posters around campus I can go look at, but it makes it hard to see when times for things are.
We are a new business in Calumet and we will carve anything, any size on anything from a picture. Check us out we'll be making souvenirs too.
See you there!
The 2014 Event Schedule is a winner! The degree of detail is much appreciated. CopperDog fans can now plan their fun ahead of time! Thank you very much. ( if they don't know, they won't go....). Great job! :-)
When is the copper dog 150
How can I get a map that would be detailed like road crossings etc. I'd like to photograph this. 2Nd question what time every day do they start?
Can you please put an "app" on the webpage that tracks the teams on a Google Map?
I also CANNOT find a Google Map of the route on the webpage. If its there....its not easy to find! A MAP IS A BIG DEAL...where is it?
